Come out and learn about the food during the Civil War. Join the park naturalist as we look at the diet of an owl by dissecting owl pellets. While you are pulling your pellet apart, you will hear some interesting facts about owls and what an owl pellet is. At the Amphitheater * 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Bats of Cowan Gap
Learn about the bats that are found here at Cowans Gap and how studies are showing us the bat population is changing. Stay afterwoards to help with our end of summer bat count. At the Amphitheater 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
