Kick up your feet and kick off autumn with a Civil War Fall Ball, in the restored German Bank Barn at Allison-Antrim Museum.
The Civil War Fall Ball features the Victorian Dance Ensemble, the performing troupe of the Civil War Dance Foundation, which supports historic preservation and education projects.
Before each dance, the Victorian Dance Ensemble provides demonstration and instruction.
Participants are invited to dress in Civil War era attire, contemporary formal attire, or relaxed contemporary attire.
The important thing is to kick up your heels and have a good time.
The ball is open to children ten and older and adults.
Ball tickets are $15 for adults or $25 per couple.
It is a relaxing evening and suitable for both experienced and beginning dancers.
