Whether it’s heroes of the super kind, fairytale royalty, travelers of stars, dinosaur wranglers, busters of ghosts, games of the imaginary adventuring kind, Japanese animations, steampunks, alien doctors in their flying phone booths, pirates, fairies, mythical creatures and far off kingdoms…if there is a fandom for it, we want to celebrate it!

Hey party people! We’ve got our August event planned for you!
The end of summer is approaching before we know it!
As sad as this makes us, we want to have one last summer get together with you all for the season to celebrate what a great summer it’s been and all the good times that are ahead in the remainder of the year.
Our BBQ will feature a limited menu, special cocktails, grilled burgers and dogs, smoked pork, delicious sides, yard games, and live music from Nick Staver Trio.
This event is dog friendly; we highly encourage you bring your pooches out to celebrate the end of summer with you!
Seating is limited in the Hopyard, so we also highly encourage bringing a back-up blanket or lawn chair.
We can’t wait get in one last relaxing, kicked-back hang with you all before it starts to get too chilly.
The event will feature tea, food, and entertainment and is open to both Society members and the public.
Guests may wear hats if they choose. There will be a contest with prizes for Most Authentic, Most “Royal”, and Most Creative.
