Participants have a hands-on opportunity to learn about plants as they spend time digging in the dirt and seeing how food is grown in the historic four-square garden at Renfrew Park. They will look at different garden plants up close and explore the many ways humans depend on plants. Students will assist in tending the garden by preparing the soil, planting seeds and watering vegetables.
