First Thursday Program – Going Green, Grove Family Library
Thursday August 4th, 2022 * 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Learn about practices that can lead to more environmentally friendly decisions and lifestyles.
Hear about issues such as recycling, proper disposal of medications, solar energy, composting food waste, battery recycling, and energy conservation.
Program is led by John Luetzelschwab, Menno-Haven Retirement Communities’ Green Team coordinator, who will review how individuals and institutions can get involved.
Mondays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesdays: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM Wednesdays: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Thursdays: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM Fridays: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM We will be closed on Monday, June 20th in honor of Juneteenth and Monday, July 4th for Independence Day.
