StoryWalk Sunday | Hibernation Station, The Institute

Sunday December 10th, 2023 * 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Our series of StoryWalk® Sunday adventures for kids continues…
The story posted on the StoryWalk® trail at Pine Hill Park changes regularly, and a special story event accompanies each one on the second Sunday of select months.
Kids will join a guided walk along the story trail as they read the book, then make a special craft project to take home.
The November book was so good, we held it over for this month!
Hibernation Station by Michelle Meadows, with illustrations by Kurt Cyrus.
Sweet rhyming text delights young readers as the story introduces them to different types of hibernating animals.
The creatures on the train are preparing to snuggle into sleep, although with a passenger list that includes chipmunks, bears, snakes, hedgehogs, groundhogs, frogs, turtles, mice, bats, and more, there’s a lot of noise!
Will the hibernating critters ever get to sleep?
Take a trip to Hibernation Station to find out!
The event is FREE, but pre-registration is required by December 8.
Limited to 20 children. Register Here
For more information, email to: info@natureandcultureinstitute.org or call 717.762.0373.
All families are welcome, but activities are geared for preschool and elementary age kids.
Stay tuned for future StoryWalk® Sundays!
