Due to popular demand, we have added more sessions of our Winter Family Hike.
For this February 21st, hike, families are welcome but children must be age 5 or older.
Hike with us along a portion of the legendary Appalachian Trail! We are fortunate to live in an area that the Trail crosses through in several nearby locations.
Led by an Institute naturalist, the hike will explore some of the wonders to be found in the woods and along the byways.
Rendezvous point for the hike and more details coming soon. Make sure to dress warmly for the weather.
This event is FREE (donations accepted). Enrollment is limited to 10 due to current group restrictions, and pre-registration is required; register via email at info@NatureAndCultureInstitute.org Note: Children must be age 10 or older for this Feb. 7 Family Hike.
COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed. Signed waivers required for registration.
• Participants will sign in & complete a waiver/contact form (available HERE). If you can, please print, sign and scan it back to us at info@natureandcultureinstitute.org (preferred), or print the form, fill it out and bring it along to the event.
• Social distancing must be practiced wherever possible.
• Mask optional on the trail while appropriately distanced, & required when appropriate distancing is not possible.
