From Kitchen to the Garden at Penn State Extension

Discover the art of harvesting and utilizing your garden’s herbs to create delectable dishes that your loved ones will savor!

In person at: Penn State Extension | 181 Franklin Farm Lane Chambersburg, PA

Join Franklin County Master Gardeners to learn about various types of herbs, as well as how to prune and harvest them, preserve them, and use them in different dishes.

The workshop also includes a hands-on portion where attendees can create a small soap scrub and infuse it with dried herbs.

The workshop will, in part, be held outdoors in the demonstration gardens where the terrain is uneven.

Attendees should dress appropriately, including proper footwear.

In the event of steady rain or severe weather, the workshop will be held indoors only.
