Tuesday May 21st, 2024 * 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Attend this free workshop to learn the requirements to become a Master Gardener in Franklin County.
Penn State Master Gardeners are volunteers extensively trained in horticulture by Penn State Extension.
Master Gardeners plan and execute educational projects for communities and community members in Franklin County.
With a mission in horticultural education, the Penn State Master Gardeners volunteer for youth programs, demonstration gardens, plant sales, gardening workshops, native/pollinator gardens, food insecurity projects, answering residential gardening questions, and many other ways.
It is a fun way to volunteer and make a difference while making friends with fellow Master Gardeners!
The training is being held in the demonstration gardens and barn located across from the Penn State Extension Office, 181 Franklin Farm Lane, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
