June 13, 2018 – Oil Painting Class: 12 to 3 p.m. 42 West ARTS Co-Op – 42 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA. Join Donna Bingaman at her weekly painting class every Wednesday while Patric Schlee provides ambient music designed to inspire! June 13, 2018 – Metal Leaf Demo: 12 to 3 p.m. 42 West Arts Co-Op – 42 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA. Denny Bingaman, wildlife photographer and artist, demonstrates clay sculpting. Watch a free demonstration while enjoying the beautiful artwork and artisan crafts in the gallery.

June 13, 2018 – Open Mic Night: 7 to 9 p.m. Music Makers – 46 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA 17268. The Arts Alliance is pleased to once again present Open Mic Night at Music Makers. Local musicians are invited to participate in a session facilitated by Jonathan Ingles. All musical styles and spectators are welcome. June 15, 2018 – Live Music Fridays: 5:30 to 8 p.m. Music Makers – 46 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA. David Dishneau & Brian Lutz will perform in this split set show. Enjoy David as he performs music influenced by the likes of John Hartford, Elvis Costello and Tom Waits. A comprehensive handbuilding workshop will be held at our Penn State Mont Alto studio from Jun 18-22. Throughout this course Carolyn Baker will guide students in the fine art of handbuilding by sing a variety of techniques, including pinch pots, coil, slab, and sculpture. June 19-21, 2018 – STEAM Kid’s Class: 5 to 8 p.m. Music Makers – 46 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA. The Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro & BEACON House, Inc. present our Summer STEAMWorks Series with 3D Design & Printing. We live in a 3-dimensional world, so it is time we design and print in one as well! In this week-long course, you’ll learn the basics of 3D design and the technology used to make your design a reality. Discover how a 3D printer works and print your very own 3D design! June Featured Artist at Gallery 35 East: Virginia Hair. Gallery 35 East featured artist of the month for June is Artist, Virginia Hair. Virginia is one of the area’s best-known artist and is a member of Gallery 35 East. Her artwork seen and purchased at Gallery 35 East.

June Visiting Artist at Gallery 35 East: Janie Moltrup. Janie Moltrup retired from the U.S. Senate Photographic Studio in 2004. She is currently working as a freelance photographer out of her studio located in Smithsburg, MD. Janie’s clients range from individuals to corporations. She continues to photograph private events, corporate meetings and social gatherings, and individual and family portraits. Janie has a line of “fine art images” available featuring her more artistic photographic images. Her work will be on display June 1st– 17th

June Show at 42 West Arts: A Splash of Color. All of the members of 42 West Arts will showcase pieces in this show.

June Art Reception: Be Dot Gallery Artists. Gallery 50 will host an art reception to unveil the new look of the gallery on June 29th from 5:30-8pm. Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments while browsing the new show on display in the gallery.

The show is open to all students in the greater Waynesboro area, including homeschool students, from ages 8 to 18. They are invited to showcase their special talents—singing, dancing, playing an instrument, comedy, dramatic skit, or any other performance talent. Guerin’s work has been displayed and won awards in exclusive exhibitions and competitions throughout the United States and internationally, including Greenhouse Gallery’s Salon International, the Legacy Gallery’s Scottsdale Salon, the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society’s “Best of America” salons, and the Oil Painters of America National show. Guerin’s artwork has also appeared several books, including three volumes of Northlight Book’s “Strokes of Genius,” the American Art Collector, the Artist, Art and Beyond, and the International Artist Magazine, which featured a 10-page spread on Guerin and his artist wife, Beth de Loiselle. Several new works by Guerin have recently been added to Gallery 50.
