Franklin County Historical Society January Meeting Announced

The Franklin County Historical Society will host its January meeting.
Thursday, January 28th, 2021 at 7:00 PM online via Zoom.
Historian Beth Sansbury, author of “Searching for Sully’s Enslaved” will be the speaker. Sully Historic
House is located in Fairfax County, VA and was once home to Elinor Berry, Robert E. Lee’s alleged
nursemaid. When Lee came to Chambersburg prior to the burning he reportedly looked to visit Berry.
